Good news - they decided to go ahead and take the breathing tube out last night. Hopefully that's one less day of recovery she'll need. She's about as comfortable as can be expected and has a PCA pump for pain control.

    How's the girl doing this evening? Has she been able to get any rest today? Sorry for being so late checking in. When we spoke last, we knew about the torn ligaments, but the dry cough sounded rough too. Could that have been contributing to the fever (bronchitis maybe?)

    When we got back in and got caught up, all we could say was God Bless you both. We are glad that the docs got to check on the other symptoms, and hopefully got to everything quickly.

    Thank you a lot for this blog and letting us in on the daily updates. Our prayers are with you both, and we will keep our fingers crossed for better news. Let us know when she feels up for a call.
